Buying and Selling At Woodland
-
You’ve made the decision to sell.
-
Putting your lots up for sale is easy. There are several Facebook groups and pages that allow you to advertise. Plus, you can submit a request for it to be advertised on Woodland’s website under For Sale woodlandlittesioux.com.
-
You will need some paperwork once you have a buyer. Quit Claim Deeds are available under Woodland Forms.
-
You as the seller are responsible to make sure the buyer understands they need to take the paperwork to the Harrison County Courthouse to transfer the property into their name.
-
New owners then need to bring the paperwork received from Harrison County to the office so we can update our records.
-
New owners are responsible to read our By-laws, Covenants and Rules and Regulations.
-
New owners may be responsible for bringing the property up to code.
-
New owners are responsible for any past due dues.
-
New owners all vehicles driven in the park (to include but not limited to golf carts, 4 wheelers, side by sides, motorized bikes, dirt bikes…) must have block and lot numbers on them.
This is an association. Meetings are usually the second Saturday of each month May-October. Our Facebook group is Official Woodland Campground Little Sioux, Iowa. This is the only group that the board will update with announcements.
