Winter Caretaker Duties

Woodland Winter Caretaker 2022-2023 Winter Season Wanted, October 1st to April 30th. Please send your letter of intent and resume to the Woodland Campground Board. Terms are negotiable. Free housing, utilities and internet. Closing Date 9/8/22

WINTER CARETAKER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make security rounds twice daily and keep a log of observations.

  • Security rounds include driving slowly or walking around each block and inspection of all community-owned buildings and equipment. 

  • Look for evidence of break-ins, theft, vandalism, etc.

  • Inspect the perimeter fence daily

  • Verify water room heater is working daily.

  • Verify no one is living in the park. Make note of suspicious vehicles. (take photos)

  • Email log report to board members weekly.

  • Report any serious concerns to board and/or Sheriff dept. immediately.

  • Verify all street lights / night lighting are working

  • Notify board if you will be unable to complete daily or weekly duties for an reason.

  • Carry phone at all times while making rounds or outside the office trailer.

  • Contact property owners if any damage or suspicious conditions are seen ontheir lots, campers, sheds, etc.

  • Clean and restock the clubhouse bathroom weekly. Apply ice-melt as needed.

  • Clear snow from roads as needed to allow emergency vehicle access.

  • Understand how to check gate entry/exit log

  • Understand how to review security cameras if/when installed

  • Be available to let contractors in and out.

  • Repair gate if broken.

  • Other duties as needed or assigned
